I have used it for a number of years before and it was very usefull for synchronizing and merging software code. Now I am working with Linux and would like to have a version of Beyond Compare that works on Linux.I would like to encourage Scooter Software to develop a Linux version. In the mean time I may try using BC with wine. I tried it in the past with wine with some success.
