2025-04-23During the second week of Fortnite's seventh season, there's a challenge to play two different pieces of music on two separate piano key sets hidden on the map. These giant piano keys are each individual about as big as you. This guide will reveal both the locations of the piano keys, and the sequence of key presses needed in order to complete the challenge.Fortnite piano locations guidePlease note that this page is for a challenge that is no longer active in Fortnite. For a full list of currently active challenges, please go to our Fortnite week 6 challenges page. With the game being the global sensation that it is, there's a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important "Victory Royale", but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Head over to our Fortnite guide hub for every single thing you need to get started. Alternatively, you can head back to our Fortnite week 6 challenges guide for an overview of all the weekly challenges for this Season in Fortnite. Pleasant Park piano location, Pleasant Park sheet music The first one is west of Pleasant Park. You'll need to ascend the hill until you're almost at the top, where you'll see a giant set of piano keys, along with a sign. This sign tells you which keys you need to press, meaning you need to step on the following keys in order: E, G, C, D, E. There are no duplicate keys in this sequence, though you will need to jump off the piano and back on to play the C note after the G note. Be careful not to step on the Sharp keys (the black ones) and you should be able to play the tune relatively quickly. If you make a mistake, just start again. Lonely Lodge piano location, Lonely Lodge sheet musicThe second one is located south-east of Lonely Lodge and just to the north of the Abandoned Mansion. Head to the eastern point, close to the coast and make sure you turn around away from the sea. The keys you need to play are C, C, C, F, F, F, E, F, G, A, A#, G, A. All the keys are high (Circled), and you need to be very careful when jumping between the keys. For ones where there are repeated notes, jump up and down on the same note to play it. The A Sharp (A#) key will be where you may come unstuck, particularly jumping off the keyboard, so just be careful and you'll be able to do it. If you make a mistake, just begin again at the C key and try to play the full sequence from there. This concludes our Piano locations and sheet music guide, but there's another challenge for week 2 that involves a dancing competition at the Abandoned Mansion. This takes place in a specific point on the map, so go to our Abandoned Mansion dance off guide

2025-04-18(Image credit: Epic Games)A Fortnite Chrome Vortex looks like a terrifying tornado of liquid metal and appears at random locations, but by entering one you can turn yourself to Chrome and redeploy your glider from the top to travel large distances quickly. As the shiny threat continues to spread across the island, so too do these whirlwinds, as we've gone from having a single Chrome Vortex in Fortnite to several of them now appearing in each match. There are a number of reasons why you'd want to enter a Chrome Vortex in Fortnite, and we've already mentioned that it's a direct route to take on Chrome form while also letting you redeploy your glider at a decent height to speed up your travel. On top of that, one of the Week 7 Fortnite quests tasks you with entering one of these imposing twisters, so it pays to know how to find them in Fortnite. Thankfully, they're not difficult to track down due to their size, so here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite Chrome Vortex.Fortnite Chrome Vortex loctions(Image credit: Epic Games)The Fortnite Chrome Vortex locations are randomized for each match, and once you arrive on the battle bus they'll be indicated on the map by the little swirl icons as highlighted above. Earlier in the season there would just be one Chrome Vortex per match, in the area around Herald's Sanctum to the east of the island and while you're still likely to find one there, a second metallic whirlwind has also begun spawning in another random location, so you now have a choice for where to go so you can enter a Chrome Vortex in Fortnite. How to enter a Chrome Vortex in Fortnite(Image credit: Epic Games)To actually enter a Chrome Vortex in Fortnite for this quest, you just need to approach it and you'll be sucked up into the swirling liquid metal. Not only does this turn you to Chrome so you can Blobify and phase through regular structures, but by aiming upwards and pushing forward you can float up to the top of the Fortnite Chrome Vortex, where you'll automatically redeploy your glider and be able to float a significant distance away from it – great for escaping an incoming storm circle or spotting enemies from high above.Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and moreIain originally joined Future in 2012 to write guides for CVG, PSM3, and Xbox World, before moving on to join GamesRadar in 2013 as Guides Editor.
