Did not work at all after I changed all files I could I decided to make a final effort and removed my ANTIVIRUS program and voila! Its interface is not so hot but it seems to have all the bells and whistles PSP Pro 9 has. Just goggle Gimp 2 and I am sure you will find it if not message me and I will see if I can find and share the link. I have paint.net and will look into the plugins. Thanks a bunch and it the mean time if someone has an answer on how to get PSP Pro 9 to work on the the updated windows 10 that would be great.

To reproduce the crash, please create a file in Gimp with the settings, Image --> Mode -> Greyscale, and Image --> Precision -> 32 bit integer or 32 bit floating point. Save the file in a directory, and try to open the directory in XnView. XnView will crash. Tested in XnView 0.9.6 and 0.9.4. I found another image on my desktop that is saved like that, without making Xnview crash, however, it doesn't show a preview, like other multi-layered XCF's. So, when I change this image from greyscale 32 bit, to greyscale 16 bit and save it, this image then makes Xnview crash.
